A big and new change took place in the education system of government schools of Delhi from Tuesday i.e. 17th February. In fact, on February 17, CM Shri School was inaugurated in Sarojini Nagar area of Delhi. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta were present on this occasion. This program was presided over by Education Minister Ashish Sood. With this, CM Shri Schools Project was formally started in a total of 75 government schools of Delhi. Let us know what facilities will be there in these schools?
What is special about these schools?
This project is a big initiative of the Delhi government, whose objective is to make government schools modern and smart. These schools are not just buildings, but they are places where a strong foundation will be laid for the coming generation. These schools will help in realizing the dream of Developed India 2047. Here, along with bookish knowledge, children will also be taught life skills, employment related training, discipline and social responsibility.
These facilities will be available in CM Shri schools
- AI based smart classroom: Here learning will be easy and fun with interactive boards and technology.
- Career Counseling Lab: Children will get right advice about future career.
- ICT Lab: Computer and Internet related studies.
- Digital Library: eBooks and online resources.
- Multi-Sectoral Skill Lab: Training of different skills.
- Language Lab: Facility to learn foreign languages in a better way.
- Special Resource Room for Inclusive Education: Equal Opportunities for All Children.
- CM Shree Digital Portal: For preparation of competitive exams like JEE, NEET, UPSC etc.
What will be the benefit to children?
With these facilities, children will get a complete environment of preparation for the future in the school itself. Now studies will not be limited to blackboard only. By adopting technology and digital education, government schools are being made like private schools. Poor and middle class children will now get the same facilities which earlier only rich children used to get.
Teachers said these things
ABP News team talked to teachers and children at CM Shri School in Sarojini Nagar. Teachers told that it is very good to teach in smart class. Earlier, studies which seemed like a burden for children, now seem like a game. The attendance of children has increased and they are enjoying studies. A teacher said that with the smart board it has become very easy to remember and explain things like poems.
