Tamil Nadu government has once again shown that real development happens only when the common people are at its centre. Chief Minister MK Stalin has recently announced to give 20% Bonus and Ex-Gratia to C and D Category PSU employees. 2.69 lakh employees getting salary up to ₹21,000/month will benefit from this, which will give them a direct benefit of ₹8,400 to ₹16,800. The government will spend ₹376.01 crore on this. ‘Vidiyaal Payanam’ scheme is being run to empower women’s participation, which includes free bus travel and affordable Working Women Hostels. Pension of retired employees of temples has also been increased from ₹ 4,000 to ₹ 5,000. EPF Pensioners will get Ex-Gratia for the first time. Along with this, the Stalin government has started development projects worth thousands of crores like education, health, tribal and Tamil refugee rehabilitation, Law College and Social Justice Hostels. Tamil Nadu is now not just a state but has become an example of inclusive development.
