Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Kotdwar in Uttarakhand on Sunday (7th December) after the death of his brother-in-law Om Prakash Singh Rawat. Om Prakash Singh Rawat was a resident of Gaadi Ghat, Siddhabali Road, Kotdwar and was the husband of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s elder sister Kaushalya Rawat. This visit of CM Yogi has been decided to join the family mourning.
According to the official program released by the Chief Minister’s Office, Lucknow, CM Yogi will leave for Uttarakhand by helicopter on December 7. He is scheduled to reach the helipad at Kotdwar (Gadisainganj) at around 3:30 pm. From here he will go to the residence of Om Prakash Singh Rawat, he will meet the family members and express his condolences.
CM Yogi will stay for half an hour
According to the official program sheet, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s stay in Kotdwar is scheduled for about half an hour. After this they will leave for Saharanpur by helicopter from Kotdwar around 4:00 pm. They will return to Lucknow late in the evening. During this period, he has no plans to meet anyone except his family. The local police administration has been alerted for this.
