Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a big decision to expose lakhs of children of Uttar Pradesh to new technology and taking seriously the role of Artificial Intelligence in their development. On Friday (February 20), CM Yogi announced in the UP Assembly that 25 lakh children will be provided the facility of AI tools for free by the government.
CM Yogi Adityanath said in the House, “What can be the role of AI for children studying in schools and colleges? For this, we will have to give children free versions of AI tools to use. The government of Uttar Pradesh will make a big action plan to provide these AI tools for free to 25 lakh youth of the state. A new program will be announced for the youth of UP.”
How will AI be beneficial for school children?
School and college children will be helped to understand complex topics in simple language with the help of Artificial Intelligence. AI can help different children to study according to their understanding and speed. For example, children who are weak in mathematics can be given more practice and separate classes can be given for children who are weak in English.
AI can help children explain difficult questions, give examples and give ideas for projects. Apart from this, AI can help in learning different languages. Can tell the correct pronunciation. Can explain the meaning of words, provide translation and practice and can also make studies interesting for children.
