2 small aircraft collided in the air on Sunday (August 31, 2025) during landing at Fort Morgan Municipal Airport in Colorado, USA. According to a report by news agency AP, Tom Acre, manager of Fort Morgan Municipal Airport, said that he was reported to have a collision between a private aircraft and an aerobatic aircraft before noon. Apart from this, he had no more information.

Morgan County Sheriff Office released a statement
The Morgan County Sheriff Office issued a statement saying, “We express our deep condolences to the family and friends of the victims in this sad incident. We want to express gratitude to all the agencies who helped in this situation. Also, we also want to thank the citizens who helped extinguish the fire until the fire department and the first response party reached the spot.”
Investigation in case continues
The FAA and the National Transport Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the causes of the collision. So far, the names of the people involved have not been released, as their families are yet to be informed. The investigation of this entire case is still going on.
