Deepender Goyal Calls Ex-employees Back: When any company removes its employees, whatever reason may be given at that time, there remains an emotional bond with the former employees. Founder and Vice Chairman of Ateral (formerly Zomato) Deependra Goyal has also shared an emotional post for his former employees on social media platform X, inviting them to return.

Goyal wrote that the company has learned a lot from its past and is ready to welcome back with open arms those who have worked here before. Addressing those who voluntarily left Zomato or were asked to move on, he said that at that time Zomato may not have been the right place for everyone and many people may not have got the work environment nor the leadership they needed.
Despite this, he admitted that many employees have a deep emotional relationship with the company and the familiarity, love and home-like atmosphere that they got in Zomato might not have been experienced anywhere else. The tone of this entire message was very personal, which clearly reflected that leaving the company never diminishes the importance of the shared journey and the work done together.
Goyal’s direct invitation
Goyal also addressed in his message the concerns raised regarding the recent change in leadership, especially the fact that he is no longer the CEO of Zomato. He clarified that despite the change in position, his commitment towards the company’s core values and its culture remains the same. At the end of his address, he directly invited the former employees and said that those who feel that their journey with Zomato is incomplete, the doors are open for them and they can come back and be a part of this journey.
