For the youth preparing for government jobs, there has been a great opportunity to recruit in the Indian Navy. The Indian Navy has issued a notification for recruitment to several posts in the Short Service Commission (SSC) Executive Branch. This recruitment has been taken out for the year 2025 and the application process has also started.
Who can apply?
For this recruitment, the same candidates will be eligible who have received BE/B.Tech degree from recognized university or institute. Apart from this, candidates with degrees like MCA, M.Sc, or MBA can also apply for some posts. Talking about the age limit, the candidate should be born between 2 July 2000 to 1 January 2005.
How many posts are recruited?
Under this recruitment campaign, appointments will be made for a total of 15 posts. These posts fall under the SSC Exormation Technology cadre. Selected candidates will be appointed in various units and training centers of the Indian Navy.
How much will you get salary?
The selected SSC Executive Officers in the Indian Navy are initially given salary of about Rs 56,100 per month. Apart from this, they also get dearness allowance, travel allowance, uniform allowance and other facilities. This salary also increases over time. Those working in the Navy also get many facilities like medical facility, family housing and canteen facilities.
How will the selection process be?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list, educational qualification and SSB interview. There will be no written examination. Eligible candidates will be called directly for SSB interview. After passing the interview, there will be a process of medical test and document verification.

During the application, all the necessary documents have to be uploaded, such as marksheet, degree certificate, passport size photo etc.
