Shashi tharoor on pakistan: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who arrived in America to expose Pakistan on the issue of terrorism, participated in a discussion of the American think tank. During this time he was answering a question in which he told the reasons, why Pakistan cannot deny its involvement in the Pahalgam terror attack?
Shashi Tharoor counted three reasons-
1. He said, “The first is that Pakistan has been working on the pattern of terrorist attacks for 37 consecutive years and has been refusing again and again. I mean the people of America have not yet forgotten that Pakistan did not even know where Osama bin Laden was, until it was found in a Pakistani safe house next to the Army Camp in Cantt City.”
Shashi Tharoor further said, “Pakistan had denied any involvement in the Mumbai attacks, a terrorist was caught alive and his name, identity and his address in Pakistani was revealed. The terrorist told us where he got training and what he did. American intelligence agencies and our intelligence agencies have recorded the dreaded voice of Pakistani handlers, who have recorded the dreaded voice of Pakistani hand He was giving them, telling them where to go and they were monitoring Indian TV and saying that people are hidden on the third floor of that hotel, go and shoot them there. ”
The Congress MP said, “Such things are happening. So we know what Pakistan is doing. They will disperse the terrorists, they will deny, they did this until they were really caught red-handed.”
2. Stating the next point, Shashi Tharoor said, “The second point, the moment it (Pahalgam terror attack) took place within 45 minutes by a group named Resistance Front took credit for it. Who is the resistance front? It is a well-known proxy front of Lashkar-e-Taiba, a banned terrorist organization listed by the United Nations, listed by the US State Department, which has found a safe haven in the city of Murid, Pakistan. ”
He further said, “India presented evidence about the resistance front and its works in December 2023 and then in 24. But the problem was that Pakistan is also a member of that committee. The resistance front was not listed by the United Nations, but its identity was known and promoted. He took credit for this, then most of the people of the world did not even know about it.
The Congress leader said, “He repeated the claim after 24 hours and 24 hours after repeating that claim, his handlers must have realized its seriousness and they must have asked him to remove it from his site. So he did so but the fact that the claim of credit was on record and the world has seen it.”
3. Describing the last point, Shashi Tharoor said, “Third, when the first attack on terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir, some prominent (terrorist) organizations, especially the members of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba were cremated and pictures were revealed on social media, in which the funerals of these terrorists were shown in the funerals.”
He further said, “Therefore, as far as India is concerned, we are looking at three concrete evidence. But in the last I can also add it that we also have intelligence service. They are studying these terrorist attacks very carefully. They have identified at least four of the five criminals and they know who they are.
