Shashi tharoor on pakistan: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said on Tuesday (June 3) that there is no problem language in interaction with Pakistan, but needs to find a common approach for civilization and peace. He emphasized that if Pakistan takes action against every terrorist infrastructure in the country, then India can interact with it.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, who is leading an all -party parliamentary delegation in Brazil, said that his team successfully conveyed India’s message against terrorism to Latin American countries, including countries that may have some misunderstandings.
Talking to PTI, Tharoor said, ‘We tell our negotiaters that if Pakistan is as innocent as it claims, then why does it shelter the desired terrorists? After all, how can they (in Pakistan) live in peace, run training camps and make people radical, arms and motivate people to practice their weapons and rifles? ”

Tharoor said, ‘We can talk to them in Hindustani. We can talk to them in Punjabi. We can talk to them in English. There is no problem in finding a shared base with Pakistan. The problem is to find a shared approach for civilization and peace. We want peace, want to develop. But they do not want to leave us alone. They want to bother us. They want to weaken us. They want to finish India by giving thousands of wounds, but they will not be able to finish so easily. It would be better to forget this idea.

Brazil is hosting the 11th BRICS parliamentary platform, in such a situation whether India hopes that Brazil can issue a statement on the use of terrorism against Indian citizens, to which Tharoor said, ‘I honestly say that I think there is a separate agenda of BRICS. I am not saying that they do not want to express solidarity. I do not know and I do not even know whether it is in the draft or not they are already working.

On the question whether the country is recognizing India’s attitude against terrorism, Tharoor said that his delegation has so far traveled to four countries- Guyana, Panama, Columbia and Brazil and this has been very clear in the countries where we have gone.
Referring to Colombia, he said, ‘I would say that we have got very clear success in all four countries, if this is the word then I do not like to tell success. Others have to decide this. But we have sent our message very clearly, even to those who can have some misunderstanding.
Tharoor said that Colombia has withdrawn the statement expressing condolences to Pakistan on the loss of life and property after India’s military attacks in response to the Pahalgam attack. He said, “As a result of delivering our message, we have come back realizing that these countries understand our situation better and express complete solidarity with our struggle against terrorism, which is the main objective of our journey.”
America -led delegation will go to America from Brazil
On a question asked about the expectations of the delegation from the visit of Washington DC, Tharoor said, ‘My expectations are that it will be a challenging journey. We will have different types of viewers. Given some information spread all around, we have got some interesting and possibly challenging questions, which we will be very happy to answer.
Tharoor said in a post on ‘X’ that the delegation held intensive meetings in Brazil, which gave us a lot for happiness, both the government’s highest levels and legislatures, both the levels, were confirmed the solidarity and goodwill for India at all levels.
