Congress leader Udit Raj has supported the statement of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, in which he has accused of rigging Maharashtra elections. Udit Raj targeted the Election Commission and said that he (ECI) has not responded to the names of fake voters and removal.
Speaking to IANS, on Saturday (June 7, 2025), the Congress leader said that Rahul Gandhi talks with the fact. The Election Commission reached an agreement. Fake votes were cast, which the Election Commission has not been able to answer. The government of Maharashtra is a government of dishonest people. There has been a scam in EVMs in this election.

Udit Raj said that the Election Commission did not even explain how the number of voters added in 5 months can be more than the number of voters added in 5 years? Congress leader Udit Raj said that the Election Commission has also refused to give video footage. He further said that whenever questions arise on the Election Commission, the BJP becomes his shield, there is an elected autocracy in India.
What did Rahul Gandhi say?
Rahul Gandhi made serious allegations against the Modi government regarding the Maharashtra assembly elections 2024. He said these things while sharing the article of English newspaper on X. Rahul Gandhi also stated five stages of disturbing the election. Rahul says that the BJP is now eyeing the Bihar assembly elections and there is also a preparation for match-fixing like Maharashtra.
Rahul Gandhi raised questions
The Leader of Opposition alleges that the BJP influenced the Maharashtra assembly elections and results by strategizing in 5 phases. Also said that the Modi government changed the law related to the appointment of Election Commissioners in 2023, due to which this law bowed down in favor of the government. Rahul Gandhi said that the selection committee formed under the new law included Prime Minister, Cabinet Minister and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. This committee recommends the name of the Chief Election Commissioner or Election Commissioners to the President. He raised the question and said why the Chief Justice of the country was removed from the selection committee and a cabinet minister was kept?
