The second convocation ceremony was organized in Patanjali University, in which President Draupadi Murmu attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, President Draupadi gave degrees and gold medals to the bachelors, masters and research scholars of the university. In her address, President Draupadi Murmu expressed happiness over the fact that only girls have won 64 percent of the gold medals in the convocation ceremony.
President Murmu said in the program, “Our daughters are making India proud and will play an important role in building a developed India.” He called upon the students to make penance, simplicity and devotion the basis of their lives and contribute to the upliftment of the society and nation by working hard like Bhagirathi. The President also said that Patanjali University has tried to carry forward the tradition of Maharishi Patanjali in the field of Yoga, Ayurveda and spirituality.

Addressing the program, Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Gurmeet Singh described the contribution of Patanjali University in the field of Yoga and Ayurveda as unprecedented. He said, “Patanjali has brought a new revolution in the health sector through Yoga and Ayurveda.” At the same time, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “The students of Patanjali University will also play an important role in the resolve to build the best Uttarakhand.” He reiterated his commitment to make Uttarakhand a leader in the field of research, innovation and Artificial Intelligence by implementing the new education policy of the state government.
Every student of Patanjali is job creator – Baba Ramdev
At the same time, Patanjali University Chancellor and Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev said, “Every student of Patanjali University is not a ‘job seeker’ but a ‘job creator’.” He said, “The education here is not based on any caste or religion, but on our old Sanatan principles. The aim of Patanjali University is not only to produce educated people, but to create a society where people are of good character, self-reliant and having good thoughts (morals).
Will bring Patanjali into the category of world’s best universities – Acharya Balkrishna
University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Balkrishna said in the program, “The university has received A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with 3.48 grade points. We will take Patanjali University to the category of the best universities in the world.” He said that in this ceremony a total of 1424 students were awarded degrees, which included 54 gold medal winners and 62 research scholars (Ph.D.).
