Corona Cases in India: Corona has once again started spreading in the country. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, there are 3395 active cases of Kovid-19 in India till Saturday (31 May 2025). In Kerala in India, the maximum number of 1336 Kovid cases have been reported, while there are the most infected patients in Maharashtra and Delhi. This has happened for the first time in the last two years when Kovid’s Sakria case has reached 3000.
4 people killed from Corona during the last 24 hours
According to the data released by the central government, there have been four deaths from Corona in the country during the last 24 hours. One patient has died in Delhi, Kerala, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh. 467 cases have been registered in Maharashtra, 375 in Delhi, 265 in Gujarat, 234 in Karnataka, 205 in West Bengal, 185 in Tamil Nadu and 117 in Uttar Pradesh.
So many cases of Corona increased after two years
KVid had a total of 257 active cases in the country on 22 May. By 26 May this figure increased to 1,010 and reached 3,395 on Saturday. According to the data, 685 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours and four people have died. According to the Worldometer Index, which monitored the Kovid-19 cases, the last 3,000 active cases in the country crossed 1 April 2023. Then the total corona case was 3084.
Deaths in Kerala-Maharashtra
In Kerala, five people have died of Corona. In January 2025, the maximum number of deaths have occurred in Maharashtra, where a total of 7 people lost their lives. A total of 22 deaths have occurred in all states. In view of the state of Corona virus in Karnataka and reopening of schools, the state government has issued a circular in which parents have been asked that if their children have fever, cough, colds and other symptoms, they should not send them to school.
Government of Karnataka issued instructions
This instruction was given during the review meeting of the status of the Corona virus held on 26 May under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. In this, instructions have been given to send children to school only after being completely cured. It says that if children come to school with fever, cough, cold and other symptoms, inform their parents and send them back home.
