Even with the help of New Zealand Cricket Board, he found admission in Emirates Training Center. There he has taken official training of flight simulation.

Glenn Philips has especially made a distinct identity in white ball cricket. So far, in 44 ODIs, he has scored 1,112 runs at a strike rate of around 102, including a century and 5 fifty. On the other hand, his strike rate in T20 matches is more than 140. So far, he has scored 1,929 runs in 83 international T20 matches. He also has 2 centuries and 10 fifty in T20.
