For a cricketer, the bat is not only a part of the game but also a major source of income. Whenever a player uses a bat with the logo of any brand, he gets a huge amount from that company.

Players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul earn crores of rupees annually from their bat sponsorship. Apart from the bat, cricketers’ helmets, shoes and gloves are also a part of their earnings.

Many companies sponsor players to get their logo on these gears. International cricketers can earn up to crores of rupees annually from such deals.

Some players even sign long-term contracts with these brands, through which they get both a fixed amount and a bonus every year. Advertisements are also a big part of cricketers’ income.

Big players are ambassadors of many big brands. Virat Kohli charges crores of rupees for an Instagram post, while he charges Rs 3 to 5 crore for an ad shoot.

Now talking about BCCI salary, players get paid according to their grade. Players with A+ grade are given Rs 7 crore, those with A grade Rs 5 crore, those with B grade Rs 3 crore and those with C grade are given Rs 1 crore annually.
