Many big countries of the world have together issued a joint statement against Iran. In this statement, serious allegations have been made against Iran and a demand has been made to stop its activities immediately. Leaders of many countries including United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Canada and Australia participated in this statement. These countries said that they strongly condemn the attacks on unarmed merchant ships in the Gulf region. Besides, attacks on civilian facilities related to oil and gas have also been described as serious.
The biggest concern has been expressed regarding the Strait of Hormuz. This is one of the most important sea routes in the world, through which 20 percent of the world’s oil is transported. The statement said that due to Iran’s activities this route has almost reached the point of closure, which may affect the global market. These countries also said that tension in the region is increasing rapidly, which is a matter of concern. He has asked Iran to immediately stop its actions, which include threatening, laying mines in the sea, carrying out drone and missile attacks.

Many countries together tried to calm the situation
Along with the statement, all the countries asked Iran to follow United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817 and keep the sea lanes safe. This joint statement clearly shows that there is increasing concern about this issue at the international level and many countries are trying together to calm the situation.
