NTA has made a big change in CSIR UGC NET exam 2025. Earlier this exam was to be conducted for three days, but now it has been decided to settle it in a single day. The main reason for this was Date Clash with Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it clear that now the CSIR UGC Net June 2025 examination will be held on 28 July 2025. Earlier this exam was to be held in different shifts on 26, 27 and 28 July, but the students objected to the date confrontation with HTET. Keeping in mind the convenience of the students, the date of the examination has now been revised.
Advance City slip will be released soon
Candidates going to appear in the examination will get the information of the examination center through the Advance City Intemission Slip 8 to 10 days in advance. This slip will be available on the official website of NTA.
How will the exam be done?
CSIR UGC NET exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. There will be three sections of 200 marks in this examination.
Part A: General Qualification
Part b: subject-specific multiple choice questions
Part C: High-Level Analytical Questions
Candidates will have to solve this paper in 3 hours. Negative marking will also be applicable in the examination, in which 25% marks will be deducted on every wrong answer. However, it can also be slightly different according to the subject.
Why the date changed?
Many candidates had complained to the NTA that CSIR NET dates are clashing with HTET, due to which it is not possible to sit in both examinations. NTA took this decision, obeying the students and the examination was scheduled on the same day on 28 July.
Now what to do candidate?
Now students will have to focus only one day and prepare accordingly. Those candidates who are going to appear in this exam, keep an eye on their admit card and city slip updates.
