The wait for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 is finally over. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CTET result on the official website. This is big news for lakhs of candidates, who were waiting for their results for a long time. Now candidates can check their scorecard online while sitting at home.
How to check CTET result
To see the result, candidates will first have to visit the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in. After this click on “CTET Result 2026” link. Then enter your roll number and once you submit, your result will appear on the screen. Candidates can download their scorecard and keep it safe for future.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the result of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026. This examination was conducted on 7 and 8 February 2026 in about 140 cities across the country, in which about 25 lakh candidates participated. Now candidates can easily check their results by visiting the official website of CTET, ctet.nic.in. For this they have to enter their login details like roll number or application number and date of birth. As soon as the result is released, candidates can download their scorecard and take a print of it for future use.
Both results declared together
This time CBSE has declared the results of both Paper-1 and Paper-2 together. Paper-1 is for candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper-2 is conducted for candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8. To check the result, candidates should first go to the official website, click on the link “CTET February 2026 Result” on the home page and login by entering their required information. After this the scorecard will appear on the screen, which can be downloaded.

On how many marks will the candidate qualify?
To pass the CTET exam, it is necessary to score minimum marks. For general category, 60 percent marks are mandatory, whereas for OBC, SC, ST and disabled category candidates, this limit has been set at 55 percent. The special thing about this exam is its lifetime validity, that is, once passed, the certificate remains valid for life. CBSE will also provide digital marksheets and certificates to the candidates through DigiLocker. CTET is a national level examination, in which successful candidates can apply for teacher recruitment in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) and other government schools.
