He shared an update about his health on social media, after which fans became worried. His weakness was clearly visible in the picture taken from the hospital bed, which shocked people. Saba Azad told that the last 14 days were very difficult for her.
He revealed that he had to be hospitalized due to Cyclospora catenensis infection. During this period, he lost about 4 kg of weight and his body became so weak that even doing normal work became difficult. He said that suddenly reaching this situation from an active lifestyle was surprising for him. During this time, Hrithik Roshan remained with him continuously and kept encouraging him. Saba Azad advised people that it is important to wash vegetables and fruits thoroughly before eating, so that such infections can be avoided.

What is Cyclospora catenensis?
According to clevelandclinic, a health information website, cyclosporiasis is a type of food poisoning infection, which is caused by a parasite named Cyclosporacatanensis. This infection mainly affects the intestines and can cause watery diarrhea, gas and many stomach related problems. In many cases its symptoms do not go away quickly and can persist for a long time.
When does it become serious?
This infection can be mild and can prove to be serious for some people. Especially in people whose immunity is weak, like cancer patients or people taking medicines related to the immune system, its effect is more visible. If not treated on time, symptoms may return again and again and the disease may become prolonged. This problem is usually seen more in areas where there is lack of cleanliness or where this parasite is found more, such as Central and South America, Middle East and South East Asia. Fruits and vegetables coming from these places can also cause infection.
What are the symptoms like?
Its symptoms usually start appearing within a week of consuming infected food or water. These include watery diarrhea, loss of appetite, stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, mild fever and extreme fatigue. This infection spreads when the parasite reaches water or food through the feces of an infected person.
