A major accident took place on Tuesday (November 4) in Bawdi police station area, rural area of Jodhpur. The work of installing a tin shed was going on in a garage located in Hariyadhana village. During this, there was a sudden explosion due to the sparks coming out of the welding machine.
The explosion was so strong that all 10 to 11 people present at the spot were injured. After first aid, all the injured were referred to Mathuradas Mathur (MDM) Hospital in Jodhpur, where the condition of three people is said to be critical. According to the information, pieces of iron entered the bodies of the people present there.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the administration and police reached the spot. The hospital administration had already made preparations. The injured were brought via ambulance and treatment was started immediately.
The cause of the incident was sparks from welding.
Rural Police ACP Bhopal Singh said that work was going on in a garage in Hariyadhana village. At the same time, the spark coming out of the welding machine collided with some flammable material or cylinder kept nearby, causing a massive explosion. 11 people got burnt in this accident, out of which the condition of three is critical. Superintendent of MDM Hospital, Dr. Vikas Rajpurohit said that prior preparations were made as soon as information about the accident was received. Treatment was started as soon as the patients arrived. A special team of doctors is busy treating the injured.

The administration has started investigating the causes of the accident. In the initial investigation, negligence and lack of safety equipment are considered to be the main reasons.

It is noteworthy that the injured patient told that there was a wedding ceremony at the house of a young man named Birmaram. The gas tank there has exploded, although the police is denying it.
