While sharing her pictures with her father, Esha Deol wrote, “For my darling Papa, our pact, the strongest bond. ‘We’ throughout our lifetime, in all the worlds and beyond… We are always together Papa. Be it heaven or earth, we are one.” He further wrote, “For now, I have placed you in my heart with great tenderness, care and preciousness… deep inside me so that you will be with me for the rest of this life, those magical priceless memories… the life lessons, the teachings, the guidance, the warmth, the unconditional love, the dignity and the strength that you have given me as your daughter, no one can replace or match them.”
Isha further wrote, “I miss you so much Papa… Your warm, protective hugs felt like the most comfortable blanket, your soft but strong hands holding you that held unspoken messages and your voice calling my name followed by endless conversations, laughter and poetry, your motto ‘Always stay humble, happy, healthy and strong’.”
Isha wrote at the end of her note, “I promise to carry forward your legacy with pride and respect, and I will do my best to spread your love to millions of people who love you as much as I do. I love you so much Papa, your precious daughter, your Isha, your Bittu.”
