Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shared a letter on the occasion of International Women’s Day on Sunday (8 March). Through this letter he has given a message to women. CM has posted on his social media platform X. CM Yogi wrote in his letter that my respected people of the state, the role of women is most important in building a strong society. The government is determined towards the safety, dignity and self-reliance of half the population.
CM Yogi reminded the era of 2017
CM Yogi Adityanath wrote that before 2017, daughters were afraid to come out of the house in the evening. Was afraid to go to school and college. Crime against women was common, but today daughters are also working in night shifts. This has been possible due to clear policy and clear intentions. CM further wrote in the letter that campaigns like Mission Shakti and Anti Romeo have created fear in the minds of those who commit crimes against daughters. Where daughters are safe and respected, the society continues to progress.
Mentioned about Kanya Sumangala Yojana
In his letter, CM Yogi also mentioned Kanya Sumangala Yojana. He wrote that Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana is with every step from the birth of daughters to their education. Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Scheme has made it possible for poor families to marry daughters with self-respect.
Through the Nutrition Scheme, encouraging changes in the health of future generations have been ensured by providing better nutrition to pregnant and lactating women. The pension amount of destitute women has been increased from ₹ 1,000 to ₹ 1,500.
‘Huge reduction in the dropout rate of girl students’
CM wrote that it is the success of these efforts of the government that today the dropout rate of girl students has come down significantly. There has been an unprecedented decline in maternal mortality and infant mortality. From education to employment, daughters are getting equal opportunities. Today the women power of UP is creating a new chapter of self-reliance. From startups to Udyami credit cards, there are opportunities for entrepreneurship everywhere.
CM further wrote that self-help groups have expanded to all the development blocks of the state. Nearly 50 thousand BC Sakhis are carrying out financial transactions worth thousands of crores with confidence. Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi, Swasthya Sakhi, Surya Sakhi are not only empowering their families financially but are also making significant contribution to the economy of the state.
This message was given regarding women’s respect
He wrote that respect for women should be paramount for the entire society. Remember – Janani Janmabhoomischa Swargadapi Gariyasi i.e. mother and motherland are greater than heaven. Respected daughters of the state, you neither need to fear anyone nor have small dreams.
Various schemes of the government are giving wings to the flight of your dreams. You should not be limited to mere participation in the goal of developed Uttar Pradesh, but play a leading role. In the end he wrote that hearty greetings to all the people of the state on International Women’s Day.
