DCVS Mi Highlights IPL Match 29: Mumbai Indians have defeated Delhi Capitals by 12 runs. In this match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Mumbai Indians scored 205 runs while playing first. In response, the entire team of Delhi could score 193 runs. This is Delhi’s first defeat in IPL 2025, before it had registered 4 consecutive wins. Chasing the target of 206 runs, Deepak Chahar gave MI a tremendous start. He walked Jake Fraser McGark on the very first ball of the innings. After that Abhishek Porel and Karun Nair broke the back of Mumbai’s bowling. Together, both of them added 119 runs in 61 balls. Porel was dismissed for 33 runs, but Karun Nair came to batting in a different mood. Nair was out of 89 runs, when Delhi was to score 71 runs to win 50 balls, it was a very easy goal to see.

In 12 overs, Delhi Capitals scored 140 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. The team had to score 66 runs in 48 balls to win. From here, other batsmen including Suryakumar Yadav, Triston Stabs and KL Rahul lost wickets at consecutive intervals. In his next four overs, Delhi’s team was able to score only 24 runs and lost four important wickets. Due to this, the scores were scored 164 runs at the loss of 6 wickets by 16 overs.
