In the first match of the double header played on Sunday in IPL 2025, Delhi Capitals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets. Batting first, Hyderabad’s team was reduced to 163 runs. Chasing the target, Delhi won in 16 overs. Only Zeeshan Ansari was able to take wickets for Hyderabad, he took a total of 3 wickets including both openers. This was his IPL debut match.
Zeeshan Ansari took 3 wickets for 42 runs in 4 overs spell. He took the wicket of KL Rahul (15) after Faf du Plessis (50) and Jake Fraser-Maxark (38).
