There is very good news for government employees who have been looking for affordable housing in Delhi for a long time. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the first time has come up with ‘Karmayogi Awas Yojana’ especially keeping in mind the people working and retired in government service. In which DDA has also announced a special discount as a New Year gift to working and retired government employees.
Up to 25 percent discount to government employees
This scheme has been kept only for people associated with government services. In this, employees of Central and State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Government Banks, Local Bodies, Autonomous Institutions, Universities and other government organizations can apply. The biggest feature of this scheme is that eligible applicants will be given a discount of up to 25 percent on the price of flats. This discount will be applied directly on the selling price, making buying a house relatively cheaper.

1168 new one, two and three BHK flats included
A total of 1168 new flats have been introduced under the Karmayogi Housing Scheme. These include three categories of houses – 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK, so that employees with different needs and budgets can avail the benefits.

All flats have been prepared in Narela
Under this scheme, all the residential flats have been built in Narela area. These flats are located in Sector A1 to A4 of Pocket-9, which has well organized residential infrastructure with basic amenities. All the flats are ready-to-move-in and are available to interested buyers on ‘first come first serve’ basis. The registration process for this is going on.
