Why does food get stuck?
Actually, the process of swallowing food is quite complex. When we eat food, the food reaches the stomach with the help of mouth, throat and nerves. Under normal circumstances, when we swallow food, our windpipe closes for some time so that the food does not go in the wrong direction. But sometimes if food is not chewed properly or is eaten too quickly, it can get stuck in the throat or windpipe.
