Layoffs in Gameskraft: Gameskraft, the operator company of Rummy Culture, has trimmed 120 employees. The company took this decision after the government’s ban on real money games like Rami, Poker, Ludo and Fantari Sports in India. According to TracxN’s data, 120 people from their team of about 448 employees in this company of Bengaluru will now be taken out of work. The company has said that due to the new law brought by the government, their core business has stopped, in such a situation, it is a part of rebelting the trimming management. Together, the company also indicated that due to changing business decisions, more jobs could be cut.
The company’s sadness of the workers getting out
The company issued a statement saying, “After much deliberation, we are fired about 120 crafters (employees) from different teams and functions. We are taking this decision with a very heavy heart. The kind of atmosphere outside the company is molding in that manner, so further structural changes may be required. The company also said that for all the people who are being fired, health insurance facilities will be in effect till March 2026. The employees who had opted for the coverage of the dependent parents, will also have the same continuity.
Gaming sector is constantly taking out people
“Although the step is inspired by the need to be completely external atmosphere and new reality, the founder and (CEO) of Gamescraft, Prithvi Singh said, but it does not somehow reflect his talent or dedication. Our respect for our people is unchanged and we will try our best to support them in their next stage.” With this, this company has joined the list of other companies, who have trimmed employees after banning real money gaming.
