With Yashasvi Jaiswal’s second half-century of the match, Mumbai scored 89 runs without losing any wicket in the second innings against Rajasthan on the third day of the Ranji Trophy Group D match here on Monday. Earlier, Rajasthan took a lead of 363 runs by declaring the first innings at 617 runs for six wickets due to Deepak Hooda’s double century.
Hooda, who completed his century on the second day, played an innings of 248 runs in 335 balls. Karthik Sharma also scored 139 runs for Rajasthan. At the end of the day’s play, Jaiswal was playing for Mumbai with 56 runs while Musheer Khan was playing with 32 runs.
Mumbai team is still behind Rajasthan by 274 runs. In New Delhi, Puducherry took the lead in the first innings by scoring 481 runs in reply to Delhi’s 294 runs. For Puducherry, Ajay Rohera scored 151 runs while Jayant Yadav (71) and Aman Khan (66) also scored half-centuries.
Delhi has scored 76 runs in the second innings without losing any wicket. Arpit Rana is playing with 40 runs while Sanat Sangwan is playing with 24 runs. Delhi team is still behind Puducherry by 111 runs.
