Delhi: 16 year old girl dies due to drinking acid, husband faces serious allegation of murder, the case is complicated

A case of death of a 16-year-old minor girl under suspicious circumstances has come to light in Geeta Colony area of ​​East Delhi. According to initial information, the girl had consumed acid. He died during treatment. Now the police have started investigating serious allegations like sexual harassment and forced acid administration in this case.

According to police officials, the statements of the girl’s mother in this case do not match with each other, due to which the case has become even more suspicious. The police is carefully examining all the statements and evidence.

Mother accused daughter’s husband of giving her acid

According to the information, on July 3, the girl was married to a 22-year-old youth from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The marriage took place with the consent and presence of both the families and both the families are said to be distant relatives. On October 29, the girl was admitted to Maulana Azad Hospital in Delhi in critical condition. From there, information about the Medico Legal Case (MLC) was given to Geeta Colony police station.

There was mention of drinking acid in the MLC report, but there was no mention of any kind of assault or coercion. At that time, the girl and her mother had told the doctors and police that after a fight with her husband, the girl herself drank acid, but later the story took a new turn.

On January 23, the girl’s mother lodged a fresh complaint at the police station. In this complaint, it was alleged that the girl’s husband sexually assaulted her and forcibly made her drink acid on October 29.

Police are investigating the matter

Police say that the girl was a minor, hence this matter is very serious. Now the police is interrogating documents related to marriage, age, medical reports, old and new statements and family members. At present the police is investigating from all aspects so that the truth can come out and strict legal action can be taken against the culprits.
