On January 5, the first day of the winter session of the Delhi Assembly, opposition party Aam Aadmi Party created a ruckus during Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena’s address in the House. On this the Speaker gave instructions to take some MLAs out. Then the entire opposition walked out. After leaving the House, the MLAs demonstrated near the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
AAP MLAs boycotted the proceedings of the House, raising the issue of pollution during LG’s address in the House. Earlier, the MLAs were interrupting the Lieutenant Governor’s address. Sanjeev, journal The speaker gave instructions to take Singh, Kuldeep Kumar and Somdutt out.

Talking to journalists outside the Assembly, former Delhi CM Atishi said that we were thrown out of the Assembly because we were wearing masks. People of Delhi are dying due to toxic pollution. BJP government should answer. The BJP government in Delhi is giving wrong figures regarding pollution.
Atishi said that people of Delhi have not been able to breathe for four months, children are suffocating. Doctors of AIIMS are saying that it is difficult for people to live in Delhi. But Delhi government is stealing data, is not implementing GRAP properly and to show the problems of the people of Delhi, AAP MLAs have come to the assembly wearing industrial masks.
AAP demonstrated even before the assembly session started. Aam Aadmi Party said in a statement that today, on the first day of the winter session of the Delhi Assembly, under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Atishi, the Aam Aadmi Party protested against the worsening situation of pollution and data theft by the Rekha Gupta government.
