The officials investigating the Red Fort car blast case in Delhi in Srinagar have made a big revelation about terrorist Umar Un-Nabi. Terrorist Umar Un-Nabi is the name of the same doctor who blew up a Hyundai i20 car filled with explosives outside the Red Fort. Officials investigating in Srinagar said that Umar un-Nabi was the biggest radical in the white collar terror network and strongly believed in suicide attacks.
This assessment by the authorities became stronger when a video of terrorist Omar surfaced from a damaged mobile phone. In the video, Umar was defending the suicide attacks and talking about martyrdom. The emergence of this video is an indication that he was probably trying to radicalize many other people as well.
What did Omar say about the suicide attack in English?
The video recovered by the officers from the damaged mobile phone is of one minute and 20 seconds, which was said to have been recorded in the month of April this year. In that video clip, terrorist Umar Un-Nabi was sitting alone in a room and describing the suicide attack in detail in English. Officials have recovered this video from a phone recovered from a water reservoir near his house in Coil area of Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.
Umar had handed over the mobile to his brother Zahoor Ilahi
A Delhi Police officer involved in the investigation of the terrorist attack said that during a trip in the month of September-October, Umar had given this mobile to his brother Zahoor Ilahi and during this time Umar had told Zahoor to destroy it (the mobile) if he ever heard any news about it.
When Zahoor Elahi was detained, he had given information about this mobile phone. After this, forensic experts were successful in extracting data from the phone despite it being badly damaged and suffering huge losses. Although no government agency has officially confirmed the recovery of this video and its authenticity has not been independently verified, people associated with the investigation informed that this video clip is now a part of the investigation in this case and the arrested white collar module members will be questioned about why this video was recorded.
