8 people have died in the blast near Red Fort metro station in Delhi. About a dozen people have also been injured in this blast. On this blast near Red Fort metro station, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha said – ‘Today at around 6:52 pm, a slow moving vehicle stopped at a red light. There was an explosion in that vehicle, due to which the nearby vehicles were also destroyed. All agencies including FSL and NIA are present at the spot. All the agencies are reaching the incident site and taking stock, each and every aspect of the accident is being investigated. Whatever evidence is found in the investigation, action will be taken accordingly. Whatever happens, everyone will be informed about it.
Let us tell you that all the people injured in the accident have been taken to LNJP Hospital for treatment. In social media and some reports, this incident is being described as a terrorist attack. However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard from the police or intelligence agency.
