While presenting the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in the Assembly, CM Rekha Gupta also announced to conduct the Rajdhani International Film Festival. To promote tourism in Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced in the budget that Rs 117 crore will be spent on promoting tourism and branding. There will be programs on fellowships with Rs 2 crore. At the same time, for the first time an international film festival will be organized in Delhi, for which a provision of Rs 30 crore has been made.
What will be the benefit of conducting international film festival in Delhi
Organizing the International Film Festival in Delhi will increase the culture and diversity of the city. In such a festival, there will be a chance to watch foreign films and documentary based on different subjects but not only on different subjects.
