Purani Dilli Railway Station News: There has been a demand to change the name of Old Delhi railway station in Delhi. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav saying that the name of Old Delhi railway station should be changed to ‘Maharaja Agrasen railway station’.
CM Rekha Gupta says that Maharaja Agrasen is known for social service and justice, so it would be appropriate to name the station after his name. This information has been given by two senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party. This letter was written by the Chief Minister on June 19, whose information and copy has now come out.
However, no response has been received from the Railways so far. Old Delhi railway station is one of the most important stations in the capital.
