Due to the floods in Punjab, the life of people has become completely disturbed. Meanwhile, Delhi’s Rekha Gupta government has also extended his hand to help the people affected by the disaster in the state. The Delhi government has decided to give a cooperation of Rs 5 crore in the Punjab Chief Minister Relief Fund. Along with this, CM Rekha Gupta expressed condolences to the affected families and wished to recover from this disaster as soon as possible.

CM Rekha Gupta said during a conversation with the media, “There are currently flood conditions in our neighboring state of Punjab. And in which circumstances the residents are running there. I reveal a lot of condolences on my behalf. God give relief to all of them soon from this problem and trouble. On behalf of the Delhi government, we announce to provide assistance of five crore rupees in Punjab CM Relief Fund.

‘We want Punjab to come out of severe situations soon’

He further said, “We want Punjab to come out of these difficult situations soon.” Every citizen there feels relieved, the people there can get their routine, their house again. The circumstances that are going on there due to water, all of them can be well. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, we are like the whole earth family.

Delhi is standing shoulder to shoulder with Punjab- Rekha Gupta

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also said, “Punjab and Delhi are neighboring states and Delhi is standing shoulder with them in shoulder in its neighborhood. I myself also talked to the Chief Minister. If they want any other help of any kind from us, then we are ready for it. ”

Crops ruined due to severe floods in Punjab

Significantly, the death toll due to severe floods in Punjab increased to 43 on Thursday (04 September), while the crops in 1.71 lakh hectares have been wasted. The Public Works Department (PWD) contact roads of more than 101 km, 54 km scheme route of PWD and 117 km Mandi board roads have been damaged due to existing floods in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. People trapped in the flood are being safely taken out and sent to relief camps.
