On September 14 at the Onam Pononam 2025 program held at AIIMS, Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that “Delhi is really a mini India.” He told that millions of people from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Gujarat to North East, have millions of people from every state. The CM said that he has considered Delhi as his extended family and every person has equal rights on this city.

CM Gupta said that people living in Delhi are not only associated with their dreams, future and career but this city is also part of their family. He said that if the people of every state were not in Delhi, the speed would have stopped here. The Chief Minister described this diversity as the power of Delhi and said that the citizens of all states are moving forward Delhi.

Delhi’s Raunak-Rekha Gupta from different festivals

Rekha Gupta said that Delhi is identified by its multicolored festival and cultural events. According to PTI, he gave the example of Jagannath Puja of Odisha and said that he recently participated in the Jagannath Yatra. Apart from this, programs of Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and other states like Ganpati Utsav and Navratri’s Dandiya were also discussed. According to CM, these festivals increase the beauty of Delhi and the glimpse of the whole of India is seen in the same city.

Rekha Gupta spoken on Onam Pononam

Congratulating the Onam festival in the program, CM Gupta said that this festival gives the message of happiness and unity in the whole country for 10 days. He said that there is an atmosphere of two festivals in Delhi today and this is a pride and happiness for all of us.

The Chief Minister in the end also said that it is the specialty of Delhi that every culture and every festival is celebrated with equal enthusiasm, so that it really gets the identity of ‘Mini Bharat’.
