DSSSB Recruitment 2025: Good news has come for the youth of Delhi. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board i.e. DSSSB has issued a notification of recruitment for 1180 posts of Assistant Teacher in primary schools of the capital. For those who dream of becoming teachers, this is a golden opportunity for them. The process of application is kept in online mode and candidates can apply directly by visiting DSSSB’s official website dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
There are a total of 1180 seats in this recruitment. Most of these posts have been kept under Directorate of Education, where 1055 posts will be recruited. At the same time, 125 posts have been removed for New Delhi Municipal Corporation i.e. NDMC. The application process for recruitment will start from 17 September and run till 16 October.

Now if we talk about merit, then to apply for these posts, the candidate must have passed 12th with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized board. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have a degree of DLED i.e. Diploma in Elementary Education. The most important thing is that the candidate should also have a valid certificate of CTET, only then the application will be considered valid.
Age limit
The age limit has also been fixed. The maximum age for this recruitment is 30 years. However, SC, ST, OBC and other reserved class candidates will be given age relaxation according to the rules of the government.
How much application fee?
As far as fees are concerned, general category candidates will have to pay 100 rupees as application fee. But for women, as well as this application for SC, ST and Divyang candidates has been kept completely free.

The selection process is very simple. There will be no long test or interview of any kind. Candidates will be selected on merit basis. That is, the final list will be prepared only on the basis of your educational records and marks.
How much salary?
Now the most important question, what will be the salary after getting the job? So let us know that the selected Assistant Teachers will get salary according to the 7th Pay Commission, which can start from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month.
