Delhi news: The PWD has issued a tender on the renovation of the new government residence of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, for which the PWD has issued a tender. Actually, two bungalows have been allotted to CM Rekha Gupta. Bungalow number 1 is being prepared as his residence, while the second bungalow will be used as camp office. Currently, Rekha Gupta lives in her private house in Shalimar Bagh.
For the renovation of Bungalow number one, the Public Works Department (PWD) has issued a tender on June 28, the total cost of which has been stated to be around 60 lakh rupees. The first phase of this renovation will be mainly to install electrical devices and upgrade.
According to PWD, many changes are necessary to make this bungalow to the CM, because earlier it was used as the office of the Lieutenant Governor Secretariat.
Main work proposed in tender
Air Conditioner: 24 ACs with two tonnes of capacity will be installed, out of which 14 will reach around 7.7 lakhs and the remaining AC cost will reach 11.11 lakhs.
TV Units: 5 smart 4K LED TVs will be installed, 4 TVs will be 55 inches and 1 TV will be 65 inch, which will cost 9.3 lakhs.
CCTV cameras: 14 new cameras will be installed for security, which will cost 5.74 lakhs.
Roof fans: 23 remote-control sealing fans will be installed in 1.8 lakhs.

Lights and decorations
A total of 115 units of lighting equipment will be installed in the bungalow which will include hanging lights, wall lighters and three large chandeliers. A total of 6.03 lakhs are estimated to be spent on all these.
In particular, 16 flush-sealing lights, 7 brass lanters and 8 brass-glass wall lights will be installed in the common hall. A large brass-frame chandelier and two small chandeliers will be installed in the drawing room and entrance.
Safety and facilities
To increase security around the bungalow, 10 LED flood lights and new intercom systems will be installed. Also, a 50-liter RO water plant with a high-capacity will also be set up.
Tender process and time limit
This tender will open on July 4 and the goal is to complete the work within 60 days thereafter. According to PWD officials, separate tenders will be taken out for the rest of the civil work and camp office.
Significantly, the BJP had already made it clear that the Chief Minister of the party will not stay in the bungalow of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Now the bungalow that Rekha Gupta has got is of the type-7 category.
