According to officials, the Economic Survey of Delhi will also be placed in the House on the first day of the session.
According to Delhi Government, the complete outline of the budget session has been decided. The Economic Survey will be presented in the Assembly on March 23, in which key figures related to the economic condition and development of the capital will be presented. The next day on March 24, the government will present the annual budget. Discussion on the budget and other legislative work is likely to take place on March 25.
This year’s budget may exceed Rs 1 lakh crore
According to a senior government official, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had presented her first budget in the Assembly in the year 2025, the size of which was around Rs 1 lakh crore. This was his first budget after becoming the Chief Minister. Officials say that this time the budget allocation is likely to be slightly more or around the same as compared to last year.
