What are the rules regarding age?
The age rule is very important in nursery admission. According to the new rules, the minimum age of the child has been fixed till 31 March 2026. For admission in Class 1, the age of the child should be between 5 years to 6 years. The government has also made it clear that these new age rules will be fully implemented from the academic session 2026-27.

Schools have been given the flexibility to relax the age of the child up to a maximum of 30 days on the request of the parents. However, this decision will completely depend on the school rules and their consent.

When the selection list comes, check the marks and details carefully. If you notice any mistake, lodge a complaint within the stipulated time.
