Delhi Police action after ED, Al-Falah University Chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui arrested

After the action of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), now Delhi Police Crime Branch has tightened the noose on Al-Falah University. The Crime Branch has arrested Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, Chairman of Al-Falah University. After the arrest, the accused was presented in the court, from where the police got 4 days’ custody.

Action started due to UGC complaint

The case started with a complaint by the University Grants Commission (UGC). UGC had informed Delhi Police about the alleged fraud related to Al-Falah University. On the basis of this complaint, the Crime Branch started investigation and two separate FIRs were registered.

According to the police, there are serious allegations of ignoring rules and fraud in academic work at Al-Falah University. The investigation revealed that irregularities were committed in admission, degree and other educational processes. It is alleged that the students were misled and work was done against the rules. After which the police has taken arrest action.

ED has also investigated

Earlier, ED has also investigated cases related to Al-Falah University. ED suspects that there have been irregularities in financial transactions through educational irregularities. In this regard, documents were already examined and interrogated.

4 days police custody

Delhi Police Crime Branch arrested Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui and presented him in the court. Considering the seriousness of the case, the court has approved police custody for 4 days. During this time, the police will interrogate the accused and try to connect the links of the entire network and fraud.

Police say that the investigation is still going on and more arrests may be made if necessary. All aspects related to the students and parents of Al-Falah University are also being investigated, so that the truth can be revealed.
