Delhi crime news: A case of hitting a head constable to escape from the police in Bhalswa Landfil area of ​​North Delhi and allegedly dragging over a distance of more than 7 kilometers on the bonnet of the car has come to light. Police has arrested a person in this case. The official said that the accused has been identified as Karmaveer. He ran away from Delhi, he was caught from Kolkata.

A senior police officer said, “The incident took place on April 22 at 6.28 am. PCR Outer North Zone head constable Praveen and ASI Naveen stopped a suspected white car near GTK bypass near Bhalswa Landfil. He suspected that the vehicle was being used to carry alcohol. ‘

Car driver’s handiwork in Delhi

Delhi Police official said that when the driver was asked to leave, he tried to run away. Sensing the driver’s intention, the head constable Praveen stood in front of the car to stop the car. Meanwhile, the driver allegedly extended the car directly towards the constable, causing the constable to fall on the bonnet.

Head constable injured

He said, “Despite this, the car proceeded towards Azadpur and during this time Praveen kept holding the bonnet and hanged. When the car slowed down, he managed to jump near Azadpur Mandi. Due to the injuries, Praveen could not remove his mobile phone which was trapped between the bonnet and the windshield. He took the phone of a passer and informed PCR. ”

He suffered injuries in his fingers and left ankle and was taken to the BJRM Hospital for treatment. Based on his statement, a case was registered at Bhalswa Dairy Police Station under the relevant sections of the Code of India Code (BNS) and investigation was started.

Police said that Karmaveer had run away from the city to Kolkata. A team was sent to Kolkata, where the accused was arrested after following legal processes. Police said that Karmaveer is being brought back to Delhi for questioning.
