Today is going to be a special day for millions of students who dream of studying in Delhi University (DU). The first phase of admission to the Graduate (UG) course in the academic session 2025-26 is going to start from today. After a long wait, the picture is going to be clear about the admission process in DU.
CSAS portal will be inaugurated today
Vice Chancellor of Delhi University Prof. Yogesh Singh will give information about admission process, policies and schedule through a press conference today. Along with this, the first phase of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal will also be launched, which is the first step of the UG filing. Although the portal will not be completely operational on Tuesday, the process will definitely be started.
85,000 seats will get an admission opportunity
About 85,000 seats are available in about 79 graduation courses in 69 DU colleges. These include popular courses like BA, BCom, BSC. Admission to these seats will be on the basis of CUET (CUET) score, as also happened last year.
How to apply?
In the first phase, students will have to register themselves by visiting the CSAS portal. For this, they have to fill their 12th grade marksheet, personal information, email ID and mobile number. The most important thing-Students will have to fill the application number of CUET-ig, so that their photos, signature and other information will automatically be uploaded on the portal.
Second phase will be held after CUET result
The second phase process will begin after the results of CUET-OG. Then the students will have to log in to the portal and fill their course and preference of college. Based on this, the allocation of seats will be done.
This time admission started delayed
In the last week of May last year, DU started the admission process, but this time the process has been delayed due to some technical reasons. Earlier it was expected that applications would start from last week, but due to some technical problems it had to be postponed.
Necessary advice for students
Students who score well in CUET should register on the portal as soon as possible.
While filling the form, keep all the documents ready and fill the correct information.
