Delhi weather news: The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow for Delhi and surrounding cities. Light rains, celestial lightning and strong winds are expected to cause thunderstorms in the national capital on Sunday (May 2). Strong winds at speeds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are expected to blow. IMD has asked people to ‘be careful’ keeping in mind the rapid change in the weather.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Sunday, the maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 35 ° C and the minimum temperature is around 21 ° C. Delhi is expected to rain for the next three days. On 8 and 9 May, the sky of Delhi will be cloudy.

IMD said that many parts of Delhi, including Jafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, Palam, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Vasant Vihar, Vasant Kunj, Mehrauli, Tughlakabad, Chhatarpur, IGNOU, Ai Nagar and Deramandi, are likely to fall light rains with thunderstorms and strong winds with thunderstorms.

The IMD has said that there is a possibility of light rains with thunderstorms in some parts of the National Capital Region (NCR) like Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar and Ballabhgarh.

According to the Meteorological Department, on Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 4.3 degrees below normal i.e. 35 degrees Celsius. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.2 degrees Celsius, 2.5 degrees below normal. During the day, humidity levels were between 82 percent and 53 percent.
