Delhi Weather: Delhiites, cold will increase from today, humidity and pollution in the air will have double effect! Meteorological Department warned

With the arrival of November the weather is going to change suddenly. The effect of changing weather is being seen in the capital since today (6 November). Due to the change in weather in North India, cold winds and falling temperatures have started winter in Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas.

A blanket of fog was seen on the streets of Delhi early in the morning, while the Meteorological Department says that the cold is going to increase further from November 6. Due to the effect of western disturbance, chill will be felt at night and due to moisture in the air, the effect of pollution will deepen further.

Pollution continues in Delhi-NCR

In the last 24 hours, the wind speed has been recorded at about 15 kilometers per hour in the capital. However, on November 5, the impact of western disturbance was less and there was no rain except light cloud movement. Due to this, there is no relief from pollution. According to CPCB data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded around 202 on Wednesday, but in reality the air quality is being felt to be worse. There is a thick layer of fog over Delhi-NCR in the morning while there is light sunshine during the day.

Pollution level dangerous, AQI crosses 600

The air quality in many areas of Delhi has gone from ‘Poor’ to ‘Severe’ category. In the morning, AQI was recorded above 600 at some places. According to the latest pollution data, AQI in Pusa is 276, AQI in Punjabi Bagh is 265, AQI in Chandni Chowk is 282, ITO is 284.

The air condition remains poor in almost all the major areas, due to which people are complaining of difficulty in breathing and burning sensation in the eyes. Experts believe that this situation may become more serious during Diwali and Parali season.

Cold will increase from November 6, day and night temperatures will fall

According to the latest forecast of India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky will be clear from November 6 to November 11, but the effect of fog and cold will increase. There is no possibility of fog, but there will be a huge drop in temperature. The minimum temperature may drop from 14 to 13 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature is expected to drop to 28 degrees Celsius. There is no possibility of rain, but the weather will remain cool due to cold winds. According to the department, a new update on the situation after November 11 will be issued soon.
