The weather suddenly took a turn in Delhi-NCR on the evening of 18 March. Strong dust storm and light rain changed the atmosphere of the entire area. The winds blowing at a speed of about 52 kilometers per hour surprised people. It rained intermittently till late night, due to which the weather became cool and pleasant on the morning of March 19. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for March 19. It is estimated that the weather may deteriorate again after noon. It will be cloudy and light rain may occur anywhere till evening or night.
Along with this, there is also a possibility of dusty winds blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour and storms. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be around 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 19 degrees Celsius.
The effect will continue on March 20 also
According to the Meteorological Department, rain with thunderstorms is expected in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad on March 20 also. Yellow alert has been issued for this day also. People have been advised to remain alert in case of bad weather and go out only when necessary.
Drop in temperature, relief for four days
The effect of three consecutive days of rain will be visible in future also. Between March 21 and 24, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 34 degrees and the minimum will be 18 degrees Celsius. There will be light clouds in the sky and cool winds will keep blowing, due to which the heat will not increase much. This means that people will continue to get relief for the coming few days.
