Delhi weather news: There was light rain in some parts of the national capital on Saturday afternoon. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a ‘Yellow’ alert for today. An official gave this information.
Where did it rain?
There was rain in South Delhi, South East Delhi and parts of West Delhi. According to IMD, Safdarjung recorded 2.6 mm (mm), 0.4 mm in Palam, 0.4 mm in Ayyanagar and 0.2 mm in Lodhi Road.
According to the data released by the IMD Observatory, Palam recorded 1.4 mm between 5.30 pm to 5.30 pm, 0.8 mm in Safdarjung while Ayyanagar, Lodhi Road and Ridge recorded light rain.
IMD reported that the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, while the minimum temperature was 26.8 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. Relative humidity during the day was between 61 and 88 percent.
How will the weather be tomorrow?
The sky is expected to be cloudy and heavy rains on Sunday, while the maximum temperature is expected to be around 35 degrees Celsius.
According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 8 am on Saturday, which was in the ‘satisfactory’ category.
