Delhi weather update: The monsoon is active in many parts of India, but even after a little rain in the national capital Delhi, there is no relief from the sticky heat. New Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 36.9 degrees Celsius on Thursday (July 3), which was 0.8 degrees below the normal average.

The Meteorological Department estimates that the maximum temperature can be around 37 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can be around 27 degrees. At the same time, the quality of air is also expected to improve. According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on Thursday, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) 72 was recorded at 4 pm, which falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category.
According to CPCB, Between 0 and 50, AQI is ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘medium’, 201 to 300 are ‘bad’, 301 to 400 are ‘very poor’ and AQI between 401 and 500 are placed in ‘serious’ category. The forecast of the Meteorological Department and the better air situation has given some relief to the citizens of Delhi at present, although there is a need to be cautious due to the possibility of humidity and rain.
