In which a senior officer of the company has resigned from his post citing pollution.
According to the information given by the company, Rajkumar Bafna, President (Finance) of Akooms Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, has decided to resign from his post due to increasing pollution in Delhi. In the regulatory filing, the company has informed that Bafna will be relieved from his post with effect from December 31, 2025. The company had employed him as a senior management personal.
What did the officer say on his resignation?
Rajkumar Bafna wrote in his resignation that he is leaving his post due to the increasing pollution level of Delhi. He informed Chief Financial Officer Sumit Sood about this and requested him to remove him from this post as soon as possible.
Sumeet Sood has accepted the resignation and wrote that, we are saddened by your decision. However, considering your health problem, we cannot refuse. Bafna will be officially relieved from his post from 31 December 2025.
People’s problems increased due to pollution in Delhi
The pollution level in Delhi has remained at a dangerous level for the last few weeks. Often the air quality of Delhi remains in very poor and severe category.
