The company launched Tata Punch EV Facelift in the Indian market in February 2026 and now its delivery has also started. This electric SUV is much talked about due to its powerful features, good range and affordable price. The special thing is that this car gives direct competition to MG Comet EV in many respects.
Design and features
Many modern features have been provided in the new Tata Punch EV Facelift. The company has given it LED headlights and rear connected LED taillights, which makes its look quite attractive. Along with this, 16-inch alloy wheels of new design have also been provided. The interior has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with modern connectivity features. Apart from this, digital instrument cluster is also provided. For convenience, features like 360 degree camera, auto dimming IRVM and single sunroof have also been included in it.
Battery, motor and driving range
Tata Punch EV Facelift has been introduced with two battery options. It has 30 kWh and 40 kWh battery packs. With these battery options this SUV is capable of delivering a maximum driving range of approximately 468 kilometers. The electric motor given in it is capable of providing power up to about 82-95 kW, which makes driving inside the city easy and smooth. The company has also given it a regeneration mode, which helps in charging the battery a little while applying brakes. With this, different driving modes are also provided.
Tata Punch EV Facelift Price
Talking about the price, the starting ex-showroom price of Tata Punch EV Facelift has been kept at around Rs 9.69 lakh. Whereas its top variant is available at an ex-showroom price of around Rs 12.59 lakh. The company is also offering it with BaaS i.e. Battery-as-a-Service model. Under this option, the starting price of the car can go up to around Rs 6.49 lakh, making it more affordable for many customers.
