When he was returning after finishing his shooting, he saw a very old and weak beggar who was suffering from hunger. Seeing him, Dev Anand remembered the days of his struggle. Without thinking anything, he took out the entire income from his pocket and put it in the hands of that beggar.

When one of his friends came to know about this, he was surprised. He asked Dev Anand, “Why did you give your first earnings like this? You were in dire need of it!”
